Are we allowed to fire up a grill inside the paddock at Daytona? I would figure/hope so but I wasn't sure if they get all uppity about you not buying the $12 cheeseburgers and stuff.
I have one of those lil portable propane grills, and since I have a full fridge/freezer along with a microwave in my trailer, I figured I'd save some money.
Who knows with all of the new facilities there, but I'm all for BBQ'n the seagulls from the horseshoe, stupid birds at least the Ams get to clean the track first.

Hey! Easy there! ;D
I never had a problem in the past grilling on my propane grill or on the George forman at Daytona. Maybe they never saw me. ;)
In 2000 I asked the guards before doing it and they said bring them a burger so we did, and that was a charcoal grill.
ok, looks like i'm cooking then
SWEET!! :D Me too!! 8)
me 3! I got pretty tight with a couple of the guards, bought them coffee and gave em smokes... it makes for much pleasant weekend since they are the rules... ;D
They made me take my propane tanks off the camper. Said no propane was allowed in the paddock. This was last year.
thats when you should say: oh come on, let me keep it and lunch is on me ;)
I should have told them they were empty.
adam if not i carry my forman grill you can use it
well, my propane is inside the trailer, not visible. i could prolly even cook indoors. :D

No propane, but super volatile race fuel is ok...go figure...
LOL!!!
The more I hear about Daytona, the less I want to go. Besides, the whole "I raced at Daytona" is not something that is important to Paul. Heck, we go racing more for the people who are there than the actual racing itself.
Dawn ;)

See, that's what I couldn't understand. All these campers and RV's with propane. We had to take the tanks off and put them in the camper.
