Title: Tachometer
Post by: roadracer67 on February 13, 2005, 05:44:10 PM
I am in the process of converting my 91' cbr 600 f2 back into a race bike again and I would like to add a tach. I haven't had one for years and the stock one has been crashed, though I am still using the stock fairing stay. My question is, what type of tach is best to use??? I have been looking around and have found that they range in $99 to over $300. I am not looking to spend a lot of money becouse I know the more I spend on it, the harder I am going to crash it. Has anyone used one from a car parts store with any luck? I have already started to take the stock fairing stay and mount a piece of sheet metal to place a tach, ign. switch and temp guage on. I just haven't had any luck w/ the tach yet. Any help would be apperciated......
