I don't know if any of you have had the pleasure of doing business with Matt at MDRacing, but if you haven't you should. His prices are some of THE lowest I have ever found on the net or local and Matt provides the best service I have EVER had via internet or phone. Definitely a top-notch outfit.
Dawn and the boys; I don't know if this is the place for this but I wanted it to get the traffic that it deserves.
Thank you,
Dave
I ran Matt's bodywork last year. I was AMAZED by the price....but was even more amazed when i got it! It is awesome quality stuff. I recomend it to all my friends....one of them purchased a set also and was also very pleased. Thankfully for us, niether of us had to test its durability last season....so i cannot comment on that aspect. But im def pleased with it thus far. For the price it cannot be beaten. the surface is great out of the box too....painted very nice!

Thanks Matt!

I've been running Matt's bodywork and singing the praises of it for several years now.
I've also had a lot of chassis and tuning work done by Matt. He is not only a very well equipped and talented mechanic, he's a good guy to boot...
I've turned shops away for sponsorship. I CHOOSE to stay with MD Racing...
Hey Jeff, Dealerships must be just clawing at your door to do something eh?
I sent a set of wheels w/Matt for an 03-04 R6 to be straightened the first race weekend last year @ B-hawk. 10 weeks later after repeated attempts to find how much it would cost so as not to overinvest in straightening he finally called me back. I stated when I gave him the wheels, "Let me know what it will cost to do this so I know if I should buy used ones"
Matt never called until my rotor less wheels were straight, when at that time he said I owed him $400. Maybe you guys have not had the pleasure of looking for spare wheels, but I can get a set w/rotors for around $500. I won't do business agin w/Matt, the process was very slow and the procedure for making sure the customer (me) was right was completely avoided.

You'd be surprised... What'd you pay for your last 5 bikes?

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I agree with your assessment that the price in this case was pretty excessive compared to the work needed. Don't know that I'd have sent a set or bent wheels to Matt though myself, as he's never indicated to me that he repairs bent wheels. That being the case, why would I send something to him to have him send out to the ultimate repair shop?
We were doing our customers a favor by taking care of boxing and sending wheels to be straightened to MC Wheel in New Hampshire.
MD Racing does not straighten wheels. We have no control over how long MC Wheel takes nor what they charge. MD Racing does not have any control over how MC Wheel conducts business.
This is a service we provided at our cost. We made no profit.
It was one of the small things we did to help out our customers.
Let it be said that "No Good Deed goes Unpunished".
It is not worth the headache to provide this service any longer.
You can contact MC Wheel direct at http://www.mcwheel.com/
Then people can yell at them, not me.
PJ, I am sorry that MC Wheel charged so much. I don't have control over that. MC Wheel did not give me a quote or price until after the wheels were completed. That was after many phone calls to them concerning your rims. That was to find out the cost and completion date.
But that is all information i explained to you before.
You definetly could have stuck me with the rims afterwards, I'm glad you did not.
I am not interested in getting into a war of words with you. I feel bad that your experience was not great. As far as I know, that was your first time doing business with me. My roll was strictly a middle man.
I hope you choose not to keep holding animosity towards me. I did you a favor at no financial gain for me. You were not happy. I am sorry. There is not anything else I can do. I have publicly apologized to you for your bad experience.
I'm sure MC Wheel, given the opportunity, would do the same.
Thanks & God Bless
Hi Matt! How's your mom? She's so cool! How could a woman like that spawn a kid like you? ;) Did you ever finish her Superhawk, you bad son you! ;D
