Title: Early Liscensing Schools/Track Days
Post by: tstruyk on January 19, 2005, 01:29:03 PM
Looking for a TD specifically on the weekend of April 15-17th.  I saw Nesba hosts one at BHF but I would need to register for $75... thats $220 for one day.  Even something somewhere halfway warm in march....late march ;) would do.  Its been a productive winter and I would like to work out the kinks before Road America.  I live in St. Louis so if I could keep it in the MW area (8-10hr drive max) that would be ideal.  I guess if I have to go to the BHF NESBA event I would survive... just irks me having to register for one event.

Also I have a friend that will be racing next year but needs the class.  With gateway being pulled its looking like no dice for LCRS, checked out the trackaddix new racer school (will this get you a liscense?) but no dates posted for the schools... anyone have any other options to get him hooked up for RA?  Is there a school at RA on the 22nd.

thanks abunch!!

tstryuk,
It's a bit early, dates are still coming together, but:
-Track Addix is hosting track days at MAM on April 9 & 10.  Check their website for pricing details, http://www.trackaddix.com/

-The MAM rider school will run on April 14. Check out http://www.mamriderschool.com/ (Licensing for CCS & CRA.)
-There may be a track day for MAM members on April 2 or 3.  (Although that includes a "membership fee".....)
check www.midamericamotorplex.com for up to date info.

Good luck,

it looks to me like they do a rider school and a racer school.  I see no dates for the new racer school.  Am I wrong in that the new rider school sounds more like a rider safety course than a race liscensing clinic?

thanks for the info

KB, the 21st...thats the thursday before the weekend for NESBA correct?  Whats going on that friday, I assumed it was a practice day?

thanks

and the dates for my tuning sessions are pretty specific, 1st weekend in April is out for wedding showers for my finace and whatnot, next weekend is Vegas Baby for the bach party, 22-24 is RA... If MCRA can host a TD at gateway the first weekend I could do the TD and make my commitments that later that afternoon.
