Having never been at Daytona before, are we allowed to camp at the track? Not tent camping but inside our race trailer? Thanks
If not allowed to camp at the track, does anyone know of a close RV park, and info. Thanks
I've never been to Daytona, but I do know that there is no camping inside the paddock. I believe that there are RV hookups at Daytona outside of the track but I don't know the cost. Hopefully someone can chime in with more information.
Dawn :)
Firerider,
For all things 'RV', use www.rv.net. It's got an excellent search feature for their bbs board. I got this site rcommendation when typing in "Daytona Camping" into the search engine, http://www.beachcamp.net/.
Or try, http://www.rvonthego.com/Encore-RV-Resort-Daytona-North-CL23-8.htm.
Or try, http://daytonabeach.com/CampgroundsRvParks.asp

Another good website for tracking down campgrounds is www.rvparkreviews.com
(And don't forget to Google, either!)
Good luck,
Oh yeah, reserve quickly around bike week!
There is a RV park directly outside NASCAR turns 3/4 it fills very quickly.
PS It is not on the speedway grounds, I think it may be on Airline?
There is a campground directly out International Speedway Blvd. Its only a mile or two from the track and is pretty nice. They have all the accomodations of a campground - showers, elec, pool, hook-ups, etc... Its called International RV Park and Campground. Their phone# (386) 239-0249 or
1-866-261-3698. I think their website is www.internationalrvdaytona.com
Their rates were pretty good also.
We rented an RV a few years ago and parked outside of nascar turn 1. No hook ups so must be self contained {at that time} First come first parked?
Hey Steve....
You know your going to have to change the AM928 to EX928.
