Title: CCS Southwest
Post by: mpe-racing on December 26, 2004, 09:06:31 PM
I'm new to the southwest region, after racing with LRRS for 13 years.  Can anyone fill me in on trackside vendors for fuel, tires, parts?  I'm mainly interested in who is at Firebird and Las Vegas.

Thanks

At LVMS VP fuel is on hand. Michelin has Dale Kieffer from racers edge. Dunlop is always there. The southwest has a pretty good turnout overall. I raced CCS Pacific and Southwest. Check out  www.dialitintracktime to get some really good track time in.

Rick, welcome to CCS SW!  You will be hearing me at the races (announcer) and now that wil is done whoring his track days (which I have never been to and which is  not a CCS affiliate, we run Lockhart Phillips SportRider Track Days at every event. This is by no means a slag on wil- just a disclaimer. If he runs a good show I wish him the very best of luck!!)

As far as 2 stroke parts trackside, well good luck. But, Racers Edge as mentioned has Michelins and also stocks levers, tape, oils gloves etc.  Also we have representation from Dunlop in the form of Jim Cox Sport Tire Services from Vegas.  He does tires only for now.  If you live in Phoenix and need ref to a good shop or two let me know.  Hope to see all of you  soon at a track day or something and definitely in March for our first race! Happy New Years.

PS- Wil shoot me a schedule of your track days here in PHX so I can come say hey- Cory.

No offense taken Cory.
You can view our schedule at www.dialitintracktime.com under the calendar tab.
I will introduce myself at the Vegas race at the end of April. I think it's the twin sprint weekend.  :)
