Soon, I will be joining my wife in Chicago permanently, not just vacation, weekends and holidays. I can't wait. ;D
Good Luck!

Happy Holidays to both of you!

What's her opinion on the matter? :D
When I first read the thread title, I thought your recent patent was licensed.
Best wishes for you both.
welcome to the windy city you are a great addition to our population. we have all kinds of people here but nobody who has looped a rs250. now we do ;D
where will you be staying and when you are here we might have to have a beverage.
Tobias
Someone would have to bring that old story up. I think I loop it because of the curvature of the Earth or something like that.
I already live in Chicago. My move is such that I no longer also live in Detroit. Currently we live near Dearborn and Division. Maybe some time in the Fall we buy our first house (obviously out in a more suburban area). Places I want to go that I've been waiting to have more time to go:
- Gingerman Tavern
- Duke of Perth
- and more
My goal is not to get drunk, just to party with my racing buddies and enjoy the city, so let me get settled in and then let's kick it.

We've been waiting for this moment for a while.

Moto, you live in Detroit? Where? I'm in Grosse Pointe. If I would've known you were that close, I could've given you parts to keep the telemetry project going. I thought you were in like Wisconsin or something ??? Huh...
and how did you loop a rs250 ??? :o
Quoteand how did you loop a rs250 ??? :o
Seen a guy loop a SV650 on the dragstrip. ;D

Was it you ::) ;D Geez, talking about dumping the clutch. What did he do, get the RPM's bouncing off the limiter and drop the clutch ???
Cool man! I think we in Chicago area have THE best group of riders!! Just from the board we have, Myself, Chef, K-3, Rev Rice, diesel, KBOlsen, I know there is more I'm forgetting, we all should get together and have some drinks!
Keep in touch with Ike on "the team" also! ;)
Hey, I looped my SV650 this year too!!! 8)
QuoteMyself, Chef, K-3, Rev Rice, diesel, KBOlsen,
Best group of troublemakers you say ;D Speaking of Rev Rice, where is he? Someone go knock on his door and tell him to pay up on the moto GP bet he lost. ;D ;D
Congrats Sean! So did International offer you a position, or did you go somewhere else?
QuoteI'm in Grosse Pointe.
Damn man! Are you running from the law or what?! ??? ::)
Each time you post where you live, it's somewhere different. About a year and a half ago (on the WERA board) you were in Washington Twp. Earlier this summer, it was Eastpointe or Sterling Hts (east side is all the same really).
No, I'm at work. Our office moved from Troy to GP. Don't ask me why. "Corporate" decided it and it was stupid if you ask me >:( I live in Washington. I also have a rental in Eastpointe we were living at for a little while. If I have it my way, I'll soon be living in Orlando, but I gotta keep trying to talk the wife into it. :D
Oh. I thought you were one of those virtual workers at that. But I guess if you're the CTO, you gotta be in the home office.
Yeah, relocating a corp. officve out of Troy - esp. to GP - is weird. Esp. if your major clients are the autos.
Oh well.

I thought everyone knew that. Oh well, maybe next year. How far did you get?
QuoteCongrats Sean! So did International offer you a position, or did you go somewhere else?
So far it looks like International. I just have to complete the mound of pre-employment paperwork they require from new employees. Hopefully, I will be there some time in January.
Have you been to the Duke of Perth bar? Do you know Colin Cameron (owner/AHRMA racer)?
QuoteI thought everyone knew that. Oh well, maybe next year. How far did you get?
Nah, I didn't know. I pretty much quit until I can find someone to help out with the mechincal side of it. That way I can make any adjustments as necessary. If I would've known you were in the Detroit area, we could've met up and spent a night working on it over a case of beer and had it done ready to be destroyed on the race track ;D
Oh well.. maybe later.
Sean.... hey we gotta hook up for some food and drinks. I know Colin and I've been meaning to go get some fish and chips at his joint but never got around to it.
Rev,
Definitely. We've got to catch up on things: bikes, babies and the like. That's not a hint that I am having a baby though.
CC,
Let's keep working on it. MotoCzysz has inspired me again. I've got to make some extra money to supplement my tire budget.

Alright. I got all winter to work on it. I'm busy thru January with CES, but after that I'm completely free.
Sounds good to me. We've go to make a cable tensioner that can respond at a rate that's measurable and meaningful. I still only want suspension movement and wheel speed.
Alright. I'll start working on the PCB and source code again. Then, at the end of Feb. our anual investor meeting is in Chicago, so I'll be there for 2 weeks anyways. We can test then. :D
Feb it is.
:D
Today was the day. Last broadcast from Ford Motor Company - Dearborn, Michigan.
Peace,
See you on the local line.

No wonder all their vehicles are junk. All the engineers are on motorcycle racing forums all day long :P
;D ;D ;D :-*
Congradulations Sean!!!
Tell Tiffiney Hello... (I spelled that rite, rite?)
see ya in the windy...
