Hey Stumpy, I didn't get it, so if you don't mind could you fax it again?  Or if you'd like I can just use the same CC# for theirs and take care of it that way.

Mark-Well, he's not officially going yet, but this way I don't look so pathetic.

Dave-The closing date is January 3rd.

Hey Tiffiney, I don't have their cc anymore but I'll get it to you Monday.  They do have their room reserved, though.

See ya there!

DAMN!  You ought to be doin' the nationals at Camp Perry.  I'm not jokin'.  That's damn impressive.  Especially if you're gonna tell me it was anything smaller than a .50.

Was with a .50. Not telling how many shots it took to put 3 in a 3"grouping. ;D

I want to start doing action pistol shooting. Been practicing quick draw with my P89. Love shooting. One thing that really keeps me from going completely bonkers. But as per norms in this over-run with morons state, we keep losing our ranges. Th gravel pit we used to use just outside of town was closed down because some moronic brats shot over the top of the pit and hit a house 1/4 mile away. >:( Closest free range is over an hour from me now.

I understand your pain Rob, but I'm still jealous.  I've never lived anywhere where I could legally shoot for free.

I was gonna ask if you meant the cowboy action shooting, then I realized you have a Ruger.  Yeah, that IPSC-type shooting events are a blast.  Some of the stages are a real hoot (the el presidente & falling plates).

Many of the same advice from racing applies.  Work for smooth, not fast; focus on whta's in front of you and what you want to do, not what you just did, blah, blah, blah.

I take it you bought a rig already.  YOu didn't get a cross draw one did you?  They aren't allowed for events (for safety reasons).

Maybe we should start a pistola thread ;D

No I like thread-jacking. ;D ;D

No cross draw. I didnt like them back in the 1870's either.  ;D Kinda of weird doing fast draw with a semi-auto. Cant really fan it. :o

I think K3 got a little confused from your reply to Mark where you said, 'Mark- he's not going for sure yet - but this way I don't look so pathetic!.' (where I'm sure you were referring to Eric)

Not that K3 has ever been in a state where he was less than 100% lucid ;D

Right now, we have the room reserved for Friday night, too, so we can hang out and do whatever Saturday.  We're always 'gathering'.   ;)

We have to keep Stumpy fairly sober so he doesn't start bawling and make all of his friends come up to the podium and hug him during his speech.   ;D
