Title: Track in Louisiana
Post by: schpreck on October 31, 2002, 10:23:31 PM
I may be moving to LA. for a job with BP (British Petrolium) and I was wondering if there a re any good tracks there.  The only time I've been through there is on the way to/from racing @ Daytona.  Any help would be appreciated.

Isn't there a brand new track being built down there in LA?

Hi Schpreck!
The track No Problem is the "NEW" track down here.  Matter fact there will be a track day Dec. 8th.  It's small, but very technical... What part of La. ya movin to?!?  Check out CLKRacing.com to get any info.  Hope to see you out there!

The track in Louisiana is called Barber Raceway.  It also will include a huge motorcycle museum, for your added entertainment.  It sounds like it's going to be a heck of a track.

Barber is in Alabama.
No Problem is in LA near Baton Rouge, It is a drag strip that has a couple (5  :o) of runoff issues so there are no scheduled CCS events there. And the concrete walls have now been "fixed" to the ground so the issue will not go away.
