Thankfully, bikes don't have CV Joints. >:(
Needed to change out both halfshafts as both CV boots had cracked, and the joints were groaning like crazy. Driver's side one had flung grease everywhere.
Wrestled with a couple of rusty nuts and threads for HOURS. Couldn't get a splitter in there, and couldnt damage the threads on the shaft. Presented quite a challegen. Took almost the whole weekend for me to get it all done, with no less than 7 trips to stores. There goes my weekend. >:(
But at least they're done, and I can probably do one in 2-3 hours now.
The FZR may need a bit of work, but it sure is a lot nicer to work on than cars, usually. :D
COuld be worse. I locked myself out of the house yesterday getting ready to go riding. Left the keys on the countertop by the sink. Eventually found a window that wasnt locked. >:(

Sounds like you're a prime candidate for onea dem deer fake rocks to hide an entry key. They're actualy pretty realistic looking.
Or you could hide a spare key in your garage. You do have a key pad entry for the garage door, right? ;)

What kind of car? Any car I've worked on they're cake, just got to be careful not to round off the allen heads they usually use. Tapping the allen bit into the bolt then putting a little torque on it first to check that it won't slip is uaually best.
Usual worst-case-scenarion is pull caliper, rotos, unblot steering knuckle and yank it out... Air tools makes it a no-brainer 8)
Ford Probe.
The link that connects the roll bar to the control arm was the issue. It was all rusty. Couldnt get the nut seperated. The Allen head in the shaft of the link stripped out because it had corroded so much. The nut was frozen on pretty good. No way to hang onto the backside. That was the hardest part.
Required a lot of force to get the circlips to engage. (Blows with a 12 lb sledge ensued)
It wasn't that difficult really, just a PITA to deal with for the first time.
