I've used Ron Piazza at www.framestraightsystem.com for straightening various items with great success...

What about for 'dents' in the rims? Can they fix those also?

At Jennings, I ran off, and came back on. After hitting the outside curbing, it put 2 nice little dents/bends in both rims, but only on the left side.

Ah nevermind... I checked out that site.. yea, if they fixed those wheels they could fix mine. Mine still works at least.

If they balance, hold air and don't wobble, I run 'em...

in 02, the yoshimura-suzuki team just about passed out while seeing my rear wheel being balanced (huge flat spot).  I offered to repair or replace it at their expense.  :-)

I agree 100%.  I've sent rims to these guys that I thought they'd just laugh at-----then they came back straight and true.  They do magnesium as well.

I have used Frame Straight Systems as well.  Other than not having paint on the lip of the rim all the way around, the paint was fine after it was repaired.

Brian Lewis of Extreme Cycle does a great job and only charges about $50.  Plus he supports roadracing......

Matt Drucker at MD racing has a hookup on wheel straightening.  He's done a few of my wheels this year.

He's in the Chicago area - depending on whether or not you classify the quad cities as "Chicago area".  ;)  At least he's more local than, say, California.
