Title: Question For Tiffany
Post by: K3 Chris Onwiler on November 23, 2004, 01:59:24 PM
When is the due date for buying a ticket to the Midwest Banquet?  And do you have a date yet for buying a 2005 license and retaining your competition number?  I'm juggling finances here....
Thanks!
K3

Man, for a second there I thought that you were going to ask her if she had a date for the banquet...  ;D

I believe license renewal and saving your number needs to be in by Jan 31. (as been in the past)

After then, if you haven't renewed, your # goes back into the pool of available #s for your region.

More questions for TIFF

Last year a few of us were going to be handing out and placing posters of the 04 race scheg in local shops.  Can I do that this year (FY05 race scheg) for the DC/MD area?

Last year renewals had to be in by early January. I know of at least one guy who lost his number due to "assuming" the due date.

Once they send out mailers, all the info should be on there. If you are unsure, make sure you contact CCS to verify due dates and fees. BTW, due date means in their hands, not in the mail, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time for delivery.

Did anyone actually get the posters to do it?  I was signed up to do Milwaukee.  I had a couple conversations with CCE on how it would work, but never got any posters.  I called several times, but no dice...

Sorry, guys, I haven't been on a computer since Tuesday.  My surgery went well, but I can't really talk yet so if you need to talk to me, email for the next couple of days.  To answer your questions...
1.  The due date for buying a ticket to the Midwest banquet is going to be January 5th.
2.  The due date as of right now for getting your renewals back is January 1st as in years past.  If that changes, though, you guys will be the first to know and Dawn's right, it will be on the mailer.
3.  No, I don't have a date.   ;)  I don't think Eric can make it...even though it IS on my BIRTHDAY.   :'(
4.  As far as the poster project, I am really sorry that Kenny didn't get back to you guys.  I forwarded everything to him before I left, but you're right, when I left for maternity leave I kinda lost touch on that project (I left a whole month before I thought I would).  I am really sorry about that.  I don't know if we'll be doing it next year, but if we are I still have all of your names and addresses and you'll be first on my list to call.

Thanks for the answers!
I'll be your date if you want me to, but you'll have to bring me a signed permission slip form Eric! ;D
