Title: Happy Turkey Day!
Post by: TiffineyIngram on November 23, 2004, 01:51:40 PM
Here's a good one for you:

One year around Thanksgiving Tommy received a parrot named Gus as a gift from his dear old grandpa.  Tommy got the bird home and all he would do was scream obscenities.
So, Tommy decided to counter-act the birds bad behavior by playing Yanni and speaking soft, kind words.  It didn't work.  Tommy got so frustrated after days of not being able to get any sleep or invite friends over that one day it escalated to the point where he threw Gus into the freezer and shut the door.
A few minutes went by with Gus cursing up a storm, then silence.  Worried about Mr. Gus, Tommy slowly opened the door.  Gus gingerly hopped out and perched on Tommy's shoulder.
"I do apologize for my rude words and actions that may have offended you, sir, and if you will allow me, I hope to make amends."  Tommy stood there, jaw dropped, and just as he was about to ask what caused the dramatic change in demeanor, Gus quietly spoke:
"May I ask, sir, what the Turkey did?"

Everyone have a safe and Happy Turkey Day!  I'll be out tomorrow for surgery (wisdom teeth, ouch), so I will not be back in the office until Monday.  Until then, everyone stay safe!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Looks like we're going to watch that damn parade, eat way too much and then head to Duluth for the WSA sno-cross races.
