Title: Frozen Motors
Post by: chris_chops on November 17, 2004, 08:45:54 AM
Just a reminder---if you are up north with water in your cooling system, DRAIN IT SOON OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES.  If not, call me in the spring and I'll rebuild your motor for you.  All you engine ice and evans guys need not worry.

Very good advice.
2 years ago I thought my FZR would be OK in an attached garage... it wasn't  :-/

I was lucky and got off with only a busted coolant distribution line.

What up Tobias?  Things are going good.  I rode my 04 GSXR at putman last month and was able to hang with skinny man Dave Didier.  I don't think I can afford to run the duc too much anymore and I am amped about this new 750.  Way better then a 998 with a bent frame.  But don't worry, I am still a duc guy and have a 998 coming together that should be pumping out somewhere near 145 rear wheel.  I just got a new frame for it and sent the bill to Kevin Gordon. :o  I'll use the 998 for twins next year.
What are you doing next year?  Let's get together soon. 8)

I still have your pull over at the shop.  Two more months and I'll turn it into a shop rag. :P

What's up Carr?  I didn't get to the coolant in my bike last weekend, but plan to this weekend.

Let me know which weekends you will be racing next year, I will try to make it a point to run them.  I miss racing with all of the old school racers.

What's up Bill?  I've been off the site for a few days so I didn't get back right away.  I'll let you know when I am racing as soon as I get it all together.  I saw YTak for the first time in a long time last week and that always gets me thinking 24/7 about racing.  Must be some residuals from 2002.  Maybe squirrel will be back out next year and more of the old school guys.  Will Hanson ride again?
