Many of my friends on this board have been waiting impatiently for the release of "HIGHSIDE!" Well, it's not available yet, buuuuuuut....
As part of their promotion for the book, the publisher will allow me to submit a list of 100 personal contacts for people who are interested in the book. This would get you on a snail mail list which would keep you updated as to the book's progress toward publication. If you would like to be on this list, hit me on my e mail at racerk3@aol.com. I'll need your name and home mailing address. (They said "No business addresses.")
Please let me clarify. It is your U.S. postal mailing address they need, not your e mail address.
The list keeps growing. Thanks!
You've got mail..... ;D
yup ;D
ditto.

I just wanna see the BOOK!
QuoteI just wanna see the BOOK!
Wouldn't you like to
read it too? ;) :D :D
Just teasing 8)
I know, I know... this may turn out to be a marketing ploy for other offerings by this publishing house. But we can toss what we receive and don't like.
H.
I think the publishing house is pretty small. It's pretty common for them to want a "list". I think they want to have a some indication that there will be intrest in the book. They have no idea... ;D
I thought that too Alexa. But the 100 figure seems awfully small ???
Course there are other makets to promote the book. If half the public libraries in the nation (not to mention middle and high school libraries) pick up the book, well... Chris could be one of Opra's future guests.
Chris, I can just picture you on the set with Opra. :-X Hell, I'd definitely have to tape that. ;) ;D
H.
We couldn't let Chris around Oprah. She's so hot looking right now, he'd need a drool cup. :o ;) ;D
Of course, we could all get tickets to that taping, and Oprah would say "and you get a motorcycle, and you get a motorcycle..." ;D ;D ;D
