Done deal.
It came to the point a couple of months ago that I just couldn't handle my job anymore.  I sold trailers at a place in Waukesha, WI....New, used, enclosed, utility...and we put on brake controllers, hitches, fifthwheels...maintenance on trailers, etc.
I started working there in 2000 when my relationship collapsed at my job at a John Deere/Kawasaki ATV dealership.  Was decent because I could come and go when I needed to race, teach school, and I was taking care of my youngest, then two.
My boys are six and eight now.  The trailer place was coming apart and not growing.  Risks in my business never had the return that I had hoped through some large problems with a racing organization, a couple of customer problems with my racing fuel business, etc.
I looked set to land in a job in the motorcycle industry, but that opportunity was strung out for way too long before the decision was made to put someone else in the position.  So much for loyalty.
Anyway, decided to work in the auto/truck industry.  Decided where I'd like to work, went in and offered my services to a local dealership.  So, if you're in the Waukesha area, drop in at Griffin Ford.

What does it mean to everything else?  Not sure yet.
Super Dave's Race Against Childhood Cancer is certainly going to continue.  I have plans in the work for that.
Visionsports Riding Schools?  I will probably teach a few Visionsports' Racer University's.
And that's where I'm at.
So, drop in and see me.  When the Mustang's come in, I have to take one for a spin...Really I want a new Ford GT(40)...LOL, I had to practice making a sales contract, so I sold my self one... ;D

Good luck Dave. I hope things work out well at the new dealership. Bernie

Sacrificing some freedoms for "homeland" security are we. It may not be your first choice, but their is a time and place for everything. Do it with all your heart for all the right reasons and it will be best in the long term. Best of Luck

Best of  Luck SD.  I hope this leads to a new opportunity for the RACC program.

				Way to go, Dave!!!
When I buy, it will be from you.

Ah luv yew, man!  Good luck!

Good luck indeed.  I'm a Chevy man myself, but I'd buy anything you were selling.  I hope to study with you next season!   :)

				Thanks, everyone!
Not sure what I am other than a man myself...LOL!
Kaw, Yami, Honda, Nissan, Ford...whatever fits for me...
Not too many other kind of shuttle buses out there though... ;D

Now that you are a company man don't you have to drive the company car?
But the wifey is looking for a new car. That would be a good reason to come visit. :P

I think I have to sell some cars to get a car allowance.  Need to get to that first.... :o
We got stuff...LOL!

				Congrats Dave,
Just in time, I need a new truck, but you gotta talk me out of Chevy's.

Well, I can't talk you out of something you want.... ;D
But if I can help you with what you need... 8)
You can e-mail me with some needs, etc...  I think that's best.

Not sure how it will work yet...LOL!
I like working with people.  I guess it's a matter of understanding the mechanics of it all.
The F150...yeah, it is pretty cool.  Really, the lease programs are pretty incredible because it has so much residual value.  Almost goofy.
Not sure how my schedule will work exactly.  I believe the dealership is good.  They didn't have an ad, actually.  I did a little bit of research, and I felt that they had the best opportunities there.  And they were willing to have me.  So far, I'm happy when I can get some time to work with the owner, etc.  But, I feel, I have a lot to learn.
