Title: superbike tail, supersport legal?
Post by: gixxerfever on October 22, 2004, 09:49:58 AM
based on the name i'd say its illegal but according to section 6 of the book it does not state that the tail is illegal in supersport... so is it legal??

There is nothing that requires the stock seat to be used on a supersport bike, and the rules allow any bodywork that complies with the bellypan rule.
In other words, a superbike tail is legal in supersport.

exactly as K3 said it...

The only difference between a "supersport" and "superbike" tail is that the supersport retains use of the stock seat whereas the superbike uses foam (or if you're like me, nothing at all)...
