Title: Ultra Lightweight and 600 expert
Post by: Scotty Ryan on October 20, 2004, 03:14:35 PM
I have a chance to race a Honda Hawk in the ultra lightweight class next year as long as I can make sure that the Ultra Lightweight class doesn't conflict with any of my Middle Weight races. If any CCS people out there can give me an idea of what the race sechduel will look like that would be great. My sponsor said that they don't want to give me the bike unless I can show them that I will be able to ride the bike without any conflicting races. Otherwise they will find someone else to race it or let it sit - and that would be a shame. Thanks much -

Conflict with it?

Well, they don't put grid up any Lightweight classes with any Middleweight classes.

I've never seen them put anything like that together.

Bad enough when they combine GTU Amateur and Expert.

You should be fine, Scott.

You remember Pat, well he doesn't want me to have back to back races. Where I would get off of a bike and have to get back on another right away. From in the past do they change the race order.

Um, wat? This is making funnies, yes?

I don't think there's any way to know for sure when the races will be run. This year, they've been running the "oddball" classes Sat. and everything else on Sunday. ULWSB started the season as the first race after all the GT races, and now with the mid season flip it's the last race Saturday. If you run GTU, or MWGP I don't think you could guarantee not having back to back races.

Dave, if you want to run a Hawk in ULWSB too, you can have mine.

Jen,

Look at the dates on the first 3 posts in this thread.   Ancient history.

Daaaaarrrr.
Um, yeah. I looked at this thread three or four times and couldn't figure out what the heck they were talking about. Never noticed the dates.

Still, so confused!

:ahhh:

PS - Dave the offer still stands for my bike. Would you consider a couple of FZR 400/600s (we're up to three) and a Hawk as a trade?  Oh of course the grill too. I know, I know - that's an offer that's too good to be true. :lmao:

Wait a second here...

I have more then 4K into that damn Franken-FZR.
Now you want me to give that and all the other FZRs up? On top of the grill!

Can I keep my car then?

I didn't say *which* FZRs - I just said "a couple" and since we have three, that means we give him two. I still need one for next year. :D
