Title: Gridding at Daytona
Post by: RdRcr150 on October 25, 2002, 07:45:00 PM
I thought the purpose of pre-entering is to ensure a good starting position and is based upon finishing points in a riders region. So, my question is this: why are there pre-grids posted? If they contain only pre-entered riders then why are they not correct? I know for a fact that riders who post-entered were eventually gridded in front of me. I also know of several people who had a problem on the grid because they were not aware of the inaccuracy or the pre-grid sheets. I was aware the these were not final grids but a few folks new to Daytona were confused by this process. Also; buy a new PA system for riders meetings. The only thing I heard was, "What did he say?"
