Gonna miss my buddy! but I'm looking for Ideas on a gathering for the send off...
I told him about getting together w/Stumpy at the Championship party, and he thought that was possible... maybe I'll drive him up to the U.P. (Mich.) myself...
Anyway... Midwesterners, chime in with suggestions...
Also dont wanna drive the 26 hrs to Homestead, heard about VIR track Days through Nesba for 10/24-25..

I have people I know that run stuff at Yosh, have perment employment with Team Vaseline, etc.
Hopefully, you always keep in contact with everyone you race with. It's really a small world. I try not to loose people. And the internet makes it much easier NOT to loose each other. :)
Anthony isn't leaving us, he's just relocating. Perfect damn excuse to visit Ireland, if you ask me!

For those of you talking about flying out to Ireland, this couldn't have come up at a better time.
United is launching a fare sale tomorrow that involves flights from Chicago to Dublin. I can't tell you the fares now (might get in trouble listing fares before they go on sale...) but I can say it's a pretty smokin' deal ;D Good enough that I am very seriously considering flying out there just to grab a pint or two :)

here's the deal,,,,straight from the horses mouth.
12th of december is flight time for the new generation Connor family.
that gives me 8 weeks to actually sell my house,car,van,trailer and some other stuff.
the bikes are being loaded into a container along with all the house stuff and being shipped to Ireland on the 11th of december.
if anyone wants to help me load the container, i would be more than happy to supply Guinness and food.
racing season begins in ireland in march, so i really don't have much time to get myself organised with a house or job.
i'm just going to put on about 20 pounds of guinness.
meanwhile, in my past two and a half years racing the mid-west, i have met some interesting people.
some i didnt get to know, some i did, although it seems as more know me than i know them.
anyway what i am trying to say is that it was all fun,
racing is a close knit community and even though i am leaving the local scene, it doesn't mean you won't hear of or from me again.
i will pop up now and again on this board.
i have my website that anyone can contact me through.
i don't think it is an option for me to come back next year although i would love to have a bike for the wegman weekend ;D ;D ;D ;D

i liked it soo much that i got two of them.
as for a party at stumpy's in the U.P,
i don't have anything planned for that weekend.
my only problem is if i sell my van and car by then,

there are some people i could talk to but if it came to it, my bikes would be available.

Where is the Great Plains banquet going to be?
At this point, we were just planning to go to the Midwest banquet to collect his goodies. St. Louis isn't a terrible trip, but it's still pretty far for us--like 12 hours, I think. In the car, it would be quicker. Once we find out where it is, we'll talk it over. We are free that weekend, too.

The banquet is in Lake Geneva. We'll be there. You're welcome to come back to the compound if you wanna crash vice getting a room.
I'm sorry to hear you are going home. We will all miss having you around the track you are one of the guys out there that displays class and integrity in all situations.
