What I liked the MOST was all the attention paid to the paint job, but the biek was otherwise completely stock.. down to the tires, gearing, everything..

The total complete lack of ANY idea of what it takes to go to the track, or set up a bike is a scary constant  on tv today...

But then again, she was going so slow, and with so little lean angle...

If I was female, I would be downright pissed off about that show and the poor light it casts on women on bikes...

That did kinda suck. Her lack of even an idea of how to attach bodywork and make a bracket said it all to me and Jen.

Hey it's club roadracing on TV.  Give it *some* love.  :)

My girlfriend and I were watching and she cringed when she saw the bikes crashing.  Now I know she's truly into it.  Anyone else would have loved seeing the crashes.  :D

I didn't get why she went with the white plates either.  She should have flat out been an amateur.

I don't have cable... but from what I've heard from everyone who saw that show... ICK!  They've done a disservice to every woman who's ever thrown a leg over a racebike.

Please, please, PLEASE... let's get more women on the grid so that it's no longer an "event" to see a female racer.

IMO the story covered the wrong female rider.  They should have done the story on expert racer Misti Hurst, who was the blonde gal on the show that was giving racing advice to "Motorcycle Girl."  They attached a camera to Misti's bike for that show, so several of the on-bike shots came from her.

Misti is currently off to race the Italian CBR Cup:

The most surprise part is that they got Steve Crevier (spelling?) behind her 100%.............   ::)

Ick is right. I thought the program was crap. I was glad to see that the sport is getting attention, but I think they could have at least covered someone that had a clue. I've seen plenty of women racer that have their sh*t together. Was it just me or were the painters real jerks? They spent more time on conflict and fashion than racing.  :-/

...reminds me of a true story...as told to me by an elderly gentleman I know who was one of the very early mail pilots, a barnstormer, friend of Jimmy Doolittle et al, and later a test pilot for Grumman and instructor during WWII.

He was on the radio with a student who was in the process of landing a plane.  The plane had a loud warning buzzer that went off if the landing gear wasn't down.  The student had forgotten to lower the landing gear and my friend was yelling at him over the radio on his approach to put his landing gear down.  The student yelled back, "What? I can't hear you because this damn buzzer's too loud!"
What followed probably sounded like a lowside...
 ;D

Ok, you get the first letter capitalized...

Then you leave the other seventy-some capitalized.  Seems like the risk/reward here is a bit out of whack...

We don't count off for spelling errors. ;D
