From the PR on RRW it said ...."The event however will only pay single points for the Southeast Regional Championships."
WHAT?! Why no double points anymore ? ?? :(
That blows.
It was never double points. They just bumped it to double for the Mid-Atlantic region since they lost two of their races.
HOWEVER, I still think it should be double for the SE too since we lost Florida last week. :-/
No, it was always double points for the SE region.
Check the schedule.
It should be double points for SE according to the schedule, just like last year. Originally VIR was double points for SE and single points Mid-atlantic, now they added Mid-atlantic as double points too. Kinda stinks because Im going to loose a class championship to Darren D. if he shows up. :P I think RRW got it wrong. :o
they should make MA triple or quad points because we are missing 3 rounds...

Per K. Elliott, this is Double Points for both Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.
Get your pre-entries in. Deadline was extended to Monday, I believe.

Then they should correct the PR on RRW!
Huh, I never saw it on the schedule as double points. I thought the only double point weekends were on FUSA weekend. Oh well, COOL!

Summit Point in Sept and Oct was also scheduled to be double points.

I was wondering if he was going to Vegas. I cant touch him even if he is tired, maybe if he is abducted by some alien?? :o ;)
In 2002 when he was a amature all I could hope for was a mechanical problem. It never happened and I never got a win. But with him being as fast as he his as an expert, I'm proud of my 2nds. At least a nice guy is kickin yo butt ;D
You guys doing the SS race? I think I am going to try to. I usually help him out at the track maybe if there is enough of a reason ($$) I could maybe leave a wire off or something!
Kent
Sorry for the threadjack!
I'm STILL an amature, The better he looks now, the faster I must have been ;D
I cant wait to race with Darren at Homestead. He is a great guy and is awesome to race with i just wish i could race with him more. Next year i plan on running the FormulaUsa stuff hopefully he still will
From the looks of the Las Vegas results he was kickin' some a$$ out there too.
Good im glad great to see him doing so well.
