1) they say shenandoah is completed, and the buildings are now going up, and that the october race is still on...
2) they know their web site has been down for a few days and are working on it.
Does anybody have any updated pictures of the new track?

Good work, Mike! Did they mention if the 25/26 Sep WERA event would be run on the new course? Teammate needs to get points for his regional championship, but if that's a no-go, we'll head to VIR for CCS ???

The WERA race is on the main course. If you read their BB, you'd read that they won't consider booking races at the track till its open and functioning and deemed safe. They had the foresight/luck to book all their stuff at the main course this year, and I have no reason to believe that the shenandoah has ever been considered for the sep 25/26 wera race at summit...
I wouldn't be looking forward to racing on the new circuit if I were you, I've seen all the barriers and lack of runoff and it's really not motorcycle friendly. :-X

Mike
I read their latest and all I could tell is that the W-BBS participants were very excited, as usual ;). WERA did have the Shenandoah circuit scheduled for
last year, on its initial schedule. Somebody apparently thought they were running there this year, as the WERA Vintage website shows the Sep race as a Mid-Atlantic event for 2004.
Sorry folks for bringing this up on the CCS bbs...I was looking for anything I could find on the new course, as I thought we might be running there.
Mike, jump in on the vintage forum w/ this thread.

Yea, my understanding is after getting burned on that, rausch creek, beaver delays , etc they got gun shy...
