With all the publicity about hurricanes lately, this is something I've wondered about - how people view different types of natural disasters.
Growing up in the Midwest, my opnions of Tornadoes is somewhat biased. Which do you think you'd rather not have to deal with?
:-/
Rick
Tornados for sure! Major earthquakes don't happen very often and hurricanes come with early warning. K3's motor will never implode until he brings it back to the track.
Guess I should have added another category for Kevin's benefit.... Deer committing suicide in front of his truck! ;D
How about a good ole' fashion 28" overnight snow storm in the U.P. Happens a couple times a year and competely paralizes everything, except xr50's on the snow covered streets ;D I just hope it holds off for another month ::)
Stumpy
At least your house does'nt get blown into splinters in most snowstorms. ;)

Nope, just buried....and it's melts...in June.
Volcano's do it for me...
You will notice that there are no disasters listed for the desert southwest. ;)

My favorite is the biblical rainstorm, followed immediately by a tornado as I'm trying to rebuild an imploded motor on the tailgate of my pickup by flashlight at 3:00 AM!!! ::)
(And don't think it's never happened, either...) :o
It would have to be an asteroid impact for me! :o ;D
Being how we had a near miss earlier this year and didn't see it till it had already passed and was 3 days away, you never know when we might get hit! That sucker was estimated to be a continent killer, that would sure ruin my day! :P
The swarms of cicads this year were quite memorable. Like something out of a cheesy horror flick.
Yes, sir, you are correct.
We were painting numbers of the backs of them at the Michelin tent with Walt Schaefer.

"My cicada is faster than your cicada" ;D
