Title: 2005 schedule
Post by: digitalRoost on August 30, 2004, 04:18:14 PM
Just wondering when CCS normally publishes the schedule for the next year. We all know things are "subject to change"  ::) but it would be nice to inform sponsors of our plans and schedule for next season.

Also kinda wanting some confirmation the SW and Pacific regions will still be around.  :o I have no real info to base my intrigue on, but I've heard rumor mills predict the end of these regions.

Hey Brian, you'll probably start seeing info... in Dec. Maybe in Nov. This race year, I don't think the SW region was really settled until Jan.

As for racing in SW and Pacific, that rumor floated around this time last year as well, but we still raced. Hopefully, the same is true and it's just a rumor. If not, there's always WERA and Arroyo Seca.

When are we going to see you back at the track dryheat?  Did you get that new ZX-10 yet?  See you soon hopefully.

Hey DR and Dryheat- CCS SW gets the same rumors almost every year.  Last year they were nearly true- but thanks to Kevin Elliott stepping up to the plate and all but offering his salary to CC to keep SW and Pacific up and running we raced.  A even bigger thanks though goes to all SW and Pacific region racers who really showed the support and even helped us to grow some here.  Next year should be even better- we have in our little corner of America 4 to 5 of the fastest up and coming talents in the USA and the action just gets better.  I can honestly say I nearly lost my voice at every single round I announced (and not because of the PA!) and am very excited about the prospects of 2005.

From what's been rumored, CCS/Fasttrax may have a date or two at Putnam next season.

According to Bob, they may have a real horrorshow line-up: Nelson, Grattan; Beaver; Gingerman & Putnam.  I hope it happens :D
