This is the paradox of the whole situation. Every post that Dan ::) makes invariably will turn to garbage. If you truly want to eliminate these types of threads, simply eliminate the disease. Other wise you are just trying to cover up the symptoms.
What is the common denominator in each of these posts? Who repeatedly lies and lies and lies? Not the general membership. Only one. One only.
If you accept Dan ::) then you must also accept all that is to follow as a result. IMO.

Overlook his posts if you don't like them or believe them. Where's the lie in him having a huge insurance bill? Does he need to scan a copy of it?
Do what you will, but speaking from EXPERIENCE, eliminate Dan and 3 more "dan's" will take his place... Then you get to the point of censoring everyone, and it becomes a personal judgement call.
Free speach man... It's not like he was calling your mother names or anything...
And FWIW, I'm not "pro-Dan", I'm just anti-censorship...

Like I have shared with all those who have asked, I do not have the capability to ban anyone from this BBS. I informed Dan that he can post on the board, but he cannot buy or sell anything. Period.
If he has a question, like the insurance one, let him ask. We told him to shop around. There, question answered. But there are those who decided to knit pick his post apart and show him all the inaccuracies. That's when Dan feels the need to back pedal and cover his ass.
We all know that he is full of crap, but if we ignore him, or choose not to fall into his trap of BS, perhaps he'll go away. But right now, just by you posting this, you are playing right into his hand. Don't you get it? Dan want's to see how much trouble, how many responses, and how pissed off he can get someone. It's just a game, and with a few of you, he's winning.
