anyone know how to disable the kickstand switch?
also - should I disable the tipover shut-off switch? If so, how?
Thanks
kickstand switch should be easy, just cut the two wires and short them together. If you want to be 100% positive use a multimeter tap into both of the wires if the resistance is infinite with the kickstand down and 0 with it up, then that's what you need to do.
Cut the 2 wires and tie them together, as stated above, but make sure to:
1. Solder the connection
2. Shrink Tube the connection
This is to prevent the wires from coming apart, and also protect them from the elements. For the extra 3 mintues of work to do it this way, you can ensure a nice solid protected connection. If the wiring comes apart because it's not protected, or the connection breaks, you got issues that can happpen...
As mentioned, the kickstand is a simple cut/solder.
The bank angle sensor if you decide to get rid of it, simply pull the plug, cut & solder the OUTSIDE 2 wires together (back toward the harness of course). The middle wire is left alone.
You can jump the clutch switch too, but I don't have the diagram in front of me to tell you which wires it is to jumper... email me jeff@cbr600rr.com if you need more specifics.

Too bad...wish you could make it up!
Going to run stock suspension for the rest of the year...but I should be able to affored getting it done before next year starts
Now that is something I can definitely help you with. We have tested a ton of different suspension set ups with different parts etc. Traxxion, Ohlins, GP, you name it. Can't wait for Blackhawk Jeff, Ryan and I will be there in style.
