The 2002 race season is over for us. However there are a few memories that I would like to share with everyone in the hopes that it will bring a smile to your face too...
David Vaughn – you are the grill master :)
Chris Onwhiler – the writer. Hopefully everyone will have an opportunity to read your stuff because it is really good!
Lon Allen – put new exhaust on you bike please! You scare the dog and hurt my ears. ;)
Don Allen – I never knew a shaft drive Virago could pull such a huge wheelie. :o
Ike Anderson – The Cassenova. Smooth with the ladies and on a bike.
Billy Casper - The one who proves that size does not matter.
Rhiannon Lucente – Showing the boys how its done and keeping it fun.
Ed Key – The look on his face when it was suggested at the Wegman Auction to have his body shaved for a $50.00 donation (it was priceless). ;D
Mike Wemmer – The guy can ride an SV. Wow!
Dean Hagemann – How did your bike end up in the ladies shower? ???
Dave Rosnow – I thought he was just so sweet in innocent, but now I know the rest of the story. :-X
Rick Brewer – Is not afraid to get on all fours and act like a dog (OK he was playing with our dog).
Jim Holmen – Where do you get all your energy?
Eddie Bingham – There is no way you are 46! :o
Kim Olsen– You and I getting in trouble just for posting on the BBS. :-[
Bill Furman (race director) asking me when I was going to take one of the Sport Rider days with him – just a few weeks after he balled up his GSXR-1000 at BHF. (Not a real confidence booster, Bill). :-/
Mike Schock – Just remember I am still bigger than you.
Craig Schock – Well, I just won't bring that subject up again. You were a little upset with Kevin and I. ;)
Mike Riebe and Frank Andreas Jr. – IL vs. WI, it was just too funny.
To all the corner workers - - YOU ARE THE BEST!
There are many more, but just a few that I though I would share. Thanks to everyone who made our racing experience an enjoyable one. Everyone have fun and stay safe. We hope to see you all next year.
Paul, Dawn, Renee and Marty the dog.
what about me dawn? ;)
Quotewhat about me dawn? ;)
Gosh Brad...
At times one has thoughts and emotions that one cannot express in words. This is one of those times.
Dawn ;)
Thanks, Dawn... just think, we've got all winter to raise heck, plot and scheme for next year! 8) The heck with'em if they can't take a joke!
This was the best summer I've ever had doing anything, period. John and I came out in April not knowing a soul... and although things started out kind of rocky (well, okay - more like Mount Everest), it turned into the BEST summer - and I know it will just get BETTER next year!!! ;D
Dawn
Now you know that there has to be other things about this year that you could say about me without bringing up the sore subject.
How about crashing in turn three and then helping out my fellow riders and even getting a plack in the race.
The thing that is the greatest though is having fun with all the riders and their spouses and friends, thanks for all the memories.
Craig
Dawn
By the way everybody is bigger than Mike so that is no big deal ;D

Craig:
Just think of that experience as a life lesson. One that builds character and resolve. Now, like any good father, you have passed the opportunity to experience this life lesson to your son. ;)
