Title: Two stroke aprillia question
Post by: racer865 on July 21, 2004, 06:54:07 PM
I have a RS250 that needs some engine work and none of the mechanics in my area are very familar with this bike . Who has a good rep working with these bikes in the southeast? Any info or suggestions appreciated

Not sure on the southeast part, but if your ever north, stop by or call :

Jeff Bottrell, owner
Detroit Eurocycles
www.detroiteurocycles.com

He can do mail order parts, and is a real good guy.  Owns his own Aprilia/Guzzi/Vespa shop, and is willing to take the time to answer questions and help.  Plus, he rides an RS250.  I know he's done some stuff for southern customers.

Racer865... take it to SpeedWerks. They are awesome with the prillers and know alot and have done alot of tuning with them. Very reliable.

They are going to be at Barber in Aug if you are gonna be there you can talk to them.

I agree with ecumike.  They one the last Aprilia Cup race at Daytona.

Another option is Mototek.  They ran several Aprilia teams in the past.

Don't forget Aaron Clark.

Thanks for all the info. I think hooking up at barber may be the easiest option. Thanks                                        Danny Tackett
