If she's driving 70 in the fast lane in Chicago then she ought to pull over and get the h#ll out of the way.

I saw a few replies to her article that were well put.  But before anyone gets their knickers in a knot over her comments, take a drive up LSD at midnight on a weekend. Her estimate of 85 - 90 pmh is about 30 - 40 mph too low.  Her comments on noise, disregard of safety and weaving are accurate.

I'll confess, the first thought I had when that guy was busted at 155 on Lake Shore Drive a couple years ago was "I could top that".  (I'm not alone am I? ???) But as much as I like to ride at speed, I can't defend the bozos that play games like that on public streets in traffic.  They're responsible for many of us being hassled by cops who dislike us for the type of bikes we ride.
