wsbk runs a control tire, pirelli. most of the ama guys have contracts with dunlop.

And also i talked to Geoff may before he went out there and asked him if he was going to run in it..but he said he was going to until they told him it would caost him 4K for the spec tires for the weekend..

Not sure why they are so much..or how many sets that was for... yes i'm talking about Geoff May..  Talk to him about it at Road Atl a week or so ago at the last WERA event there

AMA guys wern't out there because WSB guys run perelli spec tires and thats all they can run .Most AMA guys are on dunlops so they couldn't run the perellis it would disput there contract with dunlop. Thats why there times were about the same if not less than our ama guys and why you didn't see them put wsb guys times on the screen all that much, perelli didn't wont it shown that the dunlop tires were that much faster than theres especially with our ama guys against the world. ;D :D :D ;) 8) ::)
