forgive me if I missed any previous rants.
So whos dumb ass idea was it to sell off the remaining 3 Summit CCS weekends!!!??? Especially if it was so obvious that there was NO TRACK to replace it!!?? I know, I know, there are still 2 weekends that they MIGHT have the track ready for, blah blah blah. Please!
I cant believe CCS sold out to the cars like that! Whats the point of a schedule then. AAAARRRRRRGH!!
>:( >:(
Dude, what are you talking about.. selling off to cars?
season is almost over here in Mid-Atlantic. We are looking for alternatives. There is Barber, Roebling and VIR left. Not much of a season it turned out.
True dat. Same for SE, but there's a Jennings in there also, but that doesn't really count, it's too far. :)
I feel like I barely got to race this year. :(
so I am picking up a dirtbike, do some more mx and trails. Then build up a motard to ride that too.
I guess its good in a way, a lot of time for me to get faster this year, we will see how it works for next year.
so how is it going to work? everything is already double points, are they going to be double double points now? Being the ROC is extra far this year on a track we never been too (aside from the FL folks) I guess it is not all that crucial, good to have all the problems in one year. We can just save money for next year :D Me for one is looking forward to Daytona already ;) :D
Mike, theres a reason we dont have any more races at Summit... hello, CCS gave in to SCCA and 3 race weekends for us went with it!! 2+2!
Just what I thought, nobody from CCS is going to reply to this to tell us why we got screwed out of 3 regional races. >:(
Good thing I wasted that money on season tickets to Summit! Thanks CCS. <spit>
Sorry man I'm lost... so the new track at SP isn't gonna be ready to race.. so they sold their spot to SCCA? How are they gonna race on it if it's not ready?
EXACTLY! That new track as far as I know, and have seen, definitely isnt going to be ready THIS year. Im guessing CCS wont respond to this, cause they know we all just lost 3 weekends at Summit.
Im just pissed because as much as I hate WERA, at least they got a full scheduled season out of Summit! Doesnt really matter much though, since you and I race 125's and WERA F'ed us there too.
damb CCS!
BSR controls the schedule of who races on what tracks at Summit Point, not CCS.
Check out their schedule http://www.summitpoint-raceway.com/SCHEDSP.HTM. Its not the best example of winning motorcycle friends and influencing motorcycle people. Do you notice any 4 wheel bias?
Your ire and diatribe are misdirected. CCS did not sell its dates, rather had to accept, after intense negotiations the dates and track facilities offered by BSR.
Optimistically, the Shenandoah Circuit will be finished by Labor Day, but will need to be certified for motorcycle racing. Lawyers delayed the construction, now lawyers and insurance folks have to bless it.
This is my 1st year racing and even I feel Shorted... :'(
Let's just hope they are intelligent enough to give us AMPLE run off & also make sure the "Rims" are removed befor the tire walls go up!!! Beter yet, Use Air Fence instead of tires!!!
NJ Motorsportspark!!~!!!

I dont mean to be a dick but that was april 13th,
the most recent article on njmotorsportspark.com is dated june 18th and it goes in to description of how the plan has hit little or no objection from the townspeople and the politicans voted 5-0 for the redevelopemnt. Thats about as close to a slam dunk as possible.
