Title: 00' ZX6R cases work for the new 636??
Post by: calvin669 on June 24, 2004, 07:29:31 AM
Will the cases from a 00' ZX6R swap with the new 636 cases?
Need to fix a 636, and wondering what the options are.

Thanks

I don't think so Ryan with the different engine size and basically completely different design.  What are you doing fixing a 636?  Is this a job from Jason, or are you picking up another bike?

Was it actually broken off (missing parts), or just cracked/grinded off?  You may be able to just weld it and/or fill it with more metal, and polish to finish the surface if you have access to these tools as a cheap fix.  I am assuming this is a transmission or clutch cover case.........
