Oh that's messed up!  Burnouts aren't all that bad, but c'mon, do them on your own bike!

There are always bad apples in every business/profession/country/race...........  Just find someone you can trust to do the work for you if you can't do it yourself!   ;)

That's a little over the top...  Talking to the owner of the dealership will likely get it resolved.  This will not.

For me, this guy just lost a lot of credibility...  I understand what the morons at the dealership did is wrong, but this isn't solving anything.

At least he knows the bike is puttin some power down. ;D

It is a little over the top, as far as the reaction is concerned, but a lot of business is based on referrals. Good and bad.

I just had a dealer take a chunk out of one of my wheels. Freshly painted too. Argh. It didn't help that he wasn't apologetic and when I complained he said I could just take my stuff and not come back.  I swear next time that happens I'm going to ask the person which vehicle in the parking lot is theirs. WTF? >:(

Delafield Motorsports... I wont be back!

Pickett line ::) The guy needs to see a shrink!
He has been posting this up all over the internet.  ON one messageboard he said he "blew up" at work and was so mad he was "shaking" and "wanted to beat the sh*t out of the dealer guys"
Thorazine anyone??? ;D

Well what about the line where the guy told him over the phone theres gonna be a burnout party in front of his house? I seen this on another forum. He did complain to the GM. GM told him thats normal and they like to show off to their customers. In the story he had on that forum he said it was the SERVICE MGR that did the burnout.

Theres NO REASON to treat customers property like that.

Talking to the owner won't do any good, the General Manager's father owns the dealership!
At first I thought this was BS too, but when the dealership mocked the guy and then told him they would have a burnout party at his home address he went way over the top.  I'd be p/o'ed too.
I hope he succeeds in making their life miserable for a while to teach them a lesson.
I'm so glad Al Gore invented this internet stuff! ;D

Jack, you want an address?

I know them...In fact, I set up that Kawasaki dealership as an ATV dealer in 1999 with my contacts...I worked for the owner when they were the John Deere dealer in Waukesha...I don't work there...long story...

If it comes down to it next time, I can probably mount your tire here at my house....and balance it.

If the dealership doesn't care, I would file with the BBB, start a decent, respectable slam campaign such as my friend Carlos has done:

http://www.tucsonmotorsports.com

Additionally I would complain to the manufacturers of the dealer (honda/yamaha/etc).

Picketing is useless IHMO...

BTW, Jack, I can change your tires as well.  Anyone who has even a slight knowledge of use of a rim clamp can do it without damaging the rim.  Carelessness is the only excuse in damaging a wheel (well, that or a broken clamp).
