If MotoGP would some day come to Road America (yeah, I know, I dreaming).

Dawn
Most definitely. It would have to be in the summer though. I don't think those world-level riders can handle the cold very well.

I'm sure the 'muricans could handle it. ;D
That WOULD be cool! I'd buy 2 tickets in a heartbeat. ;D
2 words: no garages :(
I'm pretty sure FIM requires garages.

Aw, that's sweet of you Nate, but I can pay my own way. ;D
They have been talking about bringing it there for years. I think the main problems back then were the walls around turn 5, the kink and the length of the track.
Then again, the track is so fast that I would think the lap times would be somewhere around 2:07's which I don't think it's that long.
At least they got rid of the kink! I am sure that would have been a real scary corner to take while riding a 265 horsepower bike!
It would be awesome to watch those guys stuff each other going into 5!
I think Road America would be a great venue. Holds alot of people, fast track, good facilities....but no garages.
The Kink and turn 13 have been the main reasons a GP hasn't been held at RA. The Bend may take care of the Kink. Something similar has been proposed for 13.

They did hold GP500 there as recently as 1995.:D
If MotoGP came to Road America, I'd have to enter the premiere class as a wildcard and win it. Indeed Indeed. ::)

I think it's time for an intervention. We've got to talk about your crack habit, man.
OK, After watching yesturday's race, can you imagine those crowds here in the US? I would hope so as it would be the only US GP, but still I have a hard time imagining it.
This pic says alot...

Did anyone hear what Nicky's mechanical was? I'm guessing clutch.
