Title: Don't bother-Torque on video
Post by: EM JAY on May 20, 2004, 05:20:21 AM
Should have known better!   Thought what the hey, I can't believe how bad this movie sucked!  Even Biker Boys was 10x better!   Just thought I would post a "warning" since the movie is on video/dvd now.   I would not even recomend borrowing it if someone else accidently bought it.  Not even worth giving any detail on the movie.

Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't seen either - although I have been tempted to watch Biker Boyz.

View that movie as a comedy, and you'll be OK.  I really needed a laugh when I saw that movie, and I was not dissappointed.  I mean, do you take James Bond seriously?  Terminator?
What I did like was the three main male characters and the girl who rode with them.  All four were well written enough that they seemed like people I've hung with at the track.  The situations were BS, but their conversations and personalities were real familier.  The rest is just to make you laugh.

Search this board for an earlier thread from those that went to the theatre to see it.  I think it was some time around January so something.

The advertising trailers on TV look painfully pathetic.  I just can't do it.
