Post by: EM JAY on May 09, 2004, 07:22:10 PM
;D  Make sure that you DO NOT dump the clutch when you have the throttle wide open!!

Race #1 Supertwins, I wanted an awesome start, focused on the flag, rev's high, bam!!  Whoa too much sky...more sky, wham!  I don't think I went more than a foot forward.   ;D  Broke off my rearset, Much thanks to Kim for the loan to continue the rest of the day!   YOUR THE BEST!!   THANK YOU!!

It was funny tho..... :-[ ;D

Oh my!

Thanks for the laugh.  I'm glad your OK.

Those SV's can wheelie very, very, easily.  Thats why Paul always started in second gear last year.

Concentrate on launching the bike, not to be the first one into turn one.  Trust me on this.

Dawn   ;)

So you looped it?  I was just thinking how much easier the SV is to launch than the RC51 because I wasn't as afraid of doing just that...   :o

Glad you're unhurt!   :)

Hey MJ, sorry I didnt stop by before I left but I was pretty annoyed at myself for dumping it in turn 6.  Hope you had a fun SS race.

MJ:

How'd the sliders work? :-X  Sounds like that'd be a hard impact for them.  :oDid you flip it, or not?  :-/

Did you get any pics in front of the Jordan semi? That would've looked cool.  8)

Hey Nate, sliders held out, no damage towards the front at all  ;)   Probably would have been worse without them for sure!  I'm not sure if I flipped it or not, I think I did tho?  Naaa, didn't take any pic's  8)

riding on the street like a tool and wheelie alot sure has its benefits  ;D I did a 12 o'clock wheelie at summit last year at the start, and while everyone was admiring my front wheel and slowed down thinking I am going to loop, I rode it down to turn 1 and got the hole shot!
