Title: Windproof Leathers liner?
Post by: cornercamping on April 23, 2004, 08:18:01 PM
Anyone ever seen a wind resistant liner you can wear under perforated leathers during the chilly mornings? ???  I know Taichi makes a liner, but it's not wind resistant.  Something made specifically to fit under a full suit that blocks wind or reduces airflow. ???  I've done searches and can't come up with anything.  :-/

I haven't seen any just for leathers but if you check out some of the hunting websites , there are some very thin lightweight 1 and 2 pc long underwear that would probably work well or maybe some of the running suits!!

yes... Taichi makes a windproff liner as well... i have both. The perfed liner that is nice for hot weather. Makes getting in & out of leathers a breeze and the taichi liner you throw in the wash. THe "Windstopper" liner from Taichi is made of goretex or something. Very nice for chilly days. $139..

The 32 gallon black trash bags from Glad go for about $0.14 apiece.  With a hole in the bottom center, and two more for arms it can fashionably worn as a brief tunic, and fits easily under all leathers.  It stops even the fiercest wind, and is disposable.
