Miquel is my favorite.

What sealed the deal was when he crashed a Mid-Ohio and he looked in the camera and said:  "Mom and Dad, I'm OK"

What a good boy!   ;D

He is one of my favorites too! I have the same signed litho, and also a signed one from Tim Berry (http://secure.cartsvr.net/catalogs/catalog.asp?prodid=1447519)
I also had Miguel sign the front faring of my VFR 2 years ago at VIR...too bad a tractor trailer took us both out and ruined the autograph.

Yea....

I thought someone would bring up the Barber incident.  Not one of his shining moments....

Oh well, he's still one of my favorites.

Ah, fun story...

Ok, so Dale Quarterley was a friend of mine and my mentor.

Anyway, Dale had this old Kawasaki two stroke street bike...it was like 100cc's but someone actually raced it and all.  Won a race.

Someone stole it from Dale's shop or something.

Anyway, at Daytona, Dale was at Jerry Wood's big auction.  And they announce that they have a Kawasaki such-and-such bike up for bid.  (Not his, but like it.)  They announce to the crowd that it have Yvon DuHammel's autograph on the tank (if you didn't know, Miguel's dad was a factory road racer in the early 70's).

Dale pipes out, "Carb cleaner will take that off."

Everyone laughs.

Dale wins the bid.

Takes delivery...and out comes the carb cleaner...   ;D

Not to burst your bubble, but you know the only thing wrong with the picture is that the ram air duct on the RC51 is missing.

What bubble to burst......   ::)

I know and I don't care.  Take it for what it's worth, a cool painting and it's autographed.

Sheesh!
