Want to make a little cash? I need to get a bike delivered from Southeastern Wisconsin to Orlando, or close at least.

Andy, a bit O/T, but I just wanted to say thank your for recommending Stipe Machine a while back.
I finally got enough $ together to have sliders made. I had the first batch made elsewhere, but after talking with Stipe, they'll work out much better.
They are a pleasure to deal with, quoted me an excellent price, and are using a clever method of machining what I need to also help lower costs. Quick, too!

Andy...
We didn't hook up at Daytona...
Not coming down myself, sorry.
It that the dirt tracker that's finally going down?
Nope. The dirttracker is gone. I sold all my cool toys to fund the move. Cop car, dirt bike, trailer, moped, a GS 750, 68 Camaro... all gone. All i kept was the SV.
Dave, I'm really sorry I didn't make it to daytona. I got realy sidetracked and also had another guest down that weekend. Are you going to go to Homestead this year?
And Nate, I have seen some really cool projects come out of that shop. From vacuum bratwurst shapers for Johnsonville, to really nice Ford model A pedal cars. I'm glad things worked out.
Oh yeah. 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance at MMI. Yay me!
The bike is an old Yamaha XS650 that I will be making into a mild custom. Lowered, bobbed, and slightly stretched swingarm. I'm also going to re-phase the crank to 277 degrees from 360. More revs, more power, different sound.
My dad now has 4 650s so he is finally willing to give one up.
OOOO, XS650. My friend it trying to do up one.
You gonna cafe it out or more of a street tracker?
What did your cop car go for?
I do know where your H1 went... 8)
Ah, Homestead...
Yes, should be down there for ROC in October.
Was actually thinking of a street custom. Not a chopper but an old school bobber. Lowered, whitewalls, black out the motor, extend the swingarm a little. Haven't totally decided yet.
If I did a street tracker I'd be tempted to take it to the local dirt track and try it out. My foot is still far too tender to even think of dragging it. Maybe, MAYBE in a year or so.
