Title: Summit Point Gate Times for April 8th

Just called Summit Point and the Gates will not be open until 8am on April 8th for the Roger Lyle day. She said they will not be open at all on the 7th and no camping that night.

I saw rain in the forecast.  It looks like slightly better conditions at VIR the next day.

It's still a week away, I can't believe forecasting more than 3 days ahead...  Then again it is Summit Point, the rain capitol of racing.

Yeah, it's bad mojo to talk about the w e a t h e r at Summit this far in advance.  But what's that about gate at 8 o'clock?  I know the people at BSR show up for work well before that.   I'll be there no later than 7, and lock the hubs if I need to get in. ;)

Smoke, Sean and Don - where do you guys wanna pit?  I am incredibly superstitious and always pit over by the tech shed and use an electrical box in the 65 thru 69 bank.  I guess I can throw caution to the wind if y'all have a preferred spot. 8)

I agree way to soon to be talking about Summit and the u know what stuff.

That location is fine with me. Is that right across from tech on the black top?

Anywhere is fine with me.  Tech is nice and close to the bathrooms & Chez Summit  ;)

Chez Summit???   whats that... By the way guys my wife is comming on thursday so luch will be ala Kim on the grill, so what yall want to eat?

Chez Summit is the kitchen, it's attached to the classroom building.  The food quality is somewhere between highschool cafeteria and so-so diner.
