Title: Peanut Brown
Post by: TZDeSioux on March 16, 2004, 07:59:19 AM
Peanut.... I was skateboarding at a local park over the past weekend and met a guy who says he used to skate with you all the time at Virginia Beach. Know a fella by the name of Jackson? I believe he's from North Carolina originally. Pretty damn good skater he is. He couldn't believe you were roadracing now.  ;)

well haven't skated in years but started skating again. The darn bug bit me again after watching a Hurley video with Burnquist and ueda. Lukily for me, I have about 5 skateparks within a 10 mile radius here in the Chicago area. Got one public park by the lake that has a 8ft keyhole type pool with cement coping and a humongous 7ft combination pool with steel coping, and a street area. I'm a bit hesitant to skate the way I want to because I don't want to get hurt for Road America but slamming on a concrete pool aint the same as slamming on a wooden half pipe. I thought all my teeth fell out when I fell. I guess Bill Danforth comes by the park every few weeks or so and Jesse Neuhaus and Steve Dread (probably don't know remember them. They were Alva pros around the time you were skating for Airbourne.) skate there every weekend.

A: I'm not Kim, I just play her on TV :o
B: I have a former skater girl (yes she used to skateboard) turned roadracer for a daughter. ;)
C: I still think you'd look cute in a belly shirt, no matter what the brand of deck. ;D

Whoops! Why in the heck did I think you were Kim? Geeez Sorry about that. :)

I could see your daughter as a little skateboarder. That's where her punkrockness comes from I guess.  :D
