Title: 2004 license?
Post by: George_Linhart on March 09, 2004, 07:11:48 AM
I saw in one of Tiffany's posts that I was assigned a number (#773) but I have not gotten my 2004 license in the mail or anything confirming that I am good to race this year.

What happens when I try to register for a race?  If I don't register in advance but just show up at the race, will they be able to sign me up?

I would hate to be turned away at the gate.  :'(

Thanks,

I was in the same boat, I sent her an Email and she faxed me a CCS letter stating that I am a licensed racer, my number and reigon.  Also listed her # to call if they question it.

George, did you receive a postcard in February from CCS? That's your temp license. If not, do what Mike suggested above.

At all events there is a master list of all licensed CCS/FUSA racers that is generated Wed(normal) prior to event so even without a hard card you are good to go at the track.

Just make sure you bring a photo id of some kind.  I think I remember reading in a newsletter that they will require one of those no matter what.

Since the subject is up, my folder at Daytona stated that my licsense was enclosed, it was not. Was anybody's enclosed?
I was too sick and cold to think about asking somebody there about it.
