Last I heard - the kink was resolved by putting in some sort of chicane before it. Am I wrong? I see nothing like that on the RA website.. Is it still the same?????

yea, the kink is re-configured.
You take a Hard left then a quick right and back on the original corse.
I dislocated my shoulder there last October during a track day!

The old kink was great. Nothing like banging off the rev-limiter in 5th and sliding front and rear while going through it...
I don't know why, but I really liked that corner. Didn't like the wall, but loved the corner.
Should be better with the curbing finally installed. I think I lost a slider in the mud last time through.
It is one more place to pass, just remember it's there though.
