Hey, I know this is a little late but cut me some slack, eh ;) It's painful sitting on the sidelines. :'(
Congrats for some great finishes down at Daytona...some names I saw in various results:
Jim Ptak, way to come back!
Super Dave
Jesse Janish
Dan Ortega
Brian Baker
Did I miss anyone? I only have limited results from rrw.com
I did not see team challenge results, did any of our local boys (or girls) do well?
Ebben, Martinez, Feuerstahler, Maltier, Hanson, Doty...
Dan Doty's dad had a heart attack and he had to leave early. Was going to stay for the AMA stuff...but...
Mike Casey, Steve Kessenich, Alfredo Cantu, others....
And thanks...
How's the SV?
Baker race gear crew, Shawn Higbee, JR Schnabel...
Haven't done anything yet, S_D
Arm needs another (minor) surgery, so it will be at least July before I see a track, at least from the fun side of the pit wall :(
Good news is everything is healing and getting stronger.
So, seeing how this season is "lost" anyway, i may just rehab the 600 for track days and a race weekend or 2, and put my SV campaign on hold for a year.
Have you been using the "bone stuff"? What's the next surgery?
Get the SV out. They are too fun.
i was also there mw ex #69
forgot about me huh
Well Brian, you used to race in the SW, not the MW if I remember correctly. When you appear at the local MW tracks it should help us to remember.
Dawn ;)
Actually MW EX #69 was at Daytona. He was helping out #11 Dan Bilansky who unfortunately had a nasty get off while leading the FUSA thunderbike race.
Also, how about a big round of applause for MW #247, our own Paul James. 2nd in ultra leightweight superbike, 3rd in leightweight supersport, and 9th in FUSA thunderbike! Way to go Paul! Yeehaa ;D
Hey Jim,
What bike you running this year?
Dawn ;)
