Title: The National Anthem at Firebird
Post by: cstem on March 02, 2004, 08:40:56 PM
Hi all, just poppin' in.  First I want to give my condolences for Tony.  I did not know him well- but he was one of my racers here in the SW (you are all my racers!) and I remember somoe good rides from him.  May he be in a place where everyone rides.

On a lighter note.  I wanted to thank Tom Gentry, another one of my racers, for singing the National Anthem for us here in Phoenix.  Those who were there would mostly concur that it was possibly the best rendition they ever heard.  If you know Tom- you would never guess that guy has the pipes by looking at him.  It was stirring and gave me goosebumps.  He will be doing the honors at all SW events he can attend- you should come just for that!  Thanks Tom!!
