This should be a good show to watch for those of you that get this channel
Call me stupid or lazy, but when is it airing :-/
Heart of Speed, the TV segment covered in this story, airs on National Geographic On Assignment at 7 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on Thursday, February 12, on the National Geographic Channel.
I thought it had a lot more potential. I kept waiting for it to get good, and then it was over.
They mentioned stuff like the overwhelming sensory imput and how slow he was at the start, but I wish they would've shown the difference in speeds of beginners and someone with even a little more experience. Imagine what they could do if they put all those cameras on us? They could've really let the audience understand a lot more about racing than what they did.
Give Me A Budget, Cameras, and a Graves R1 and I'll make something extraordinary ;) ;D 8) - Like showing how you can go 10 times faster than a beginner and still get lapped :-/ :)
