Title: Kenny tire failure
Post by: OlDirtyBrian on February 11, 2004, 05:52:59 PM
"Suzuki came to the test without John Hopkins and will finish without Kenny Roberts Jr. Roberts Jr. had a rear tire failure at the end of the backstraight after passing Aprilia's Jeremy McWilliams. Roberts crashed in the gravel, injuring his collarbone. It was unclear whether it was the same injury he'd suffered at Mugello last year or a new one. He'll miss the remainder of the test, preferring to rest for a test at Phillip Island in 12 days time. Before crashing, he'd set the ninth fastest time. "

Is Suzuki running Dunlops this year?

Suzuki's are on B'stones this year.
Tamada had a similar B'stone failure at the first Sepang test a couple weeks back.
Not good.
