pretty cool stuff. Tony Stewart and Dale Jr. are awesome. These cars really fly around that place too. 1:53 i think were some lap times by the leaders. 2:00 with some rain..

Stewart was coming onto the banking with the front tire in the air for the last 20 mins.
lets not forget that they were on some of the more 'well funded' teams as well, and as we all know, speed costs--how fast do you wanna go.
I wouldn't want their tire bill. ;D

nope, they ran the same config we do, including the chicane (or bus stop as they called it).
The qualifying numbers had the cars in the '46s which was pretty fast, but I bet we'll see 46's outa the HRC Honda if they bring the Q tires to the party.
Also keep in mind the cars running 46's are prototype models. Run a prototype bike (like an RCV211v) and i bet the MC track record would surely drop. :D :D

No Kevin... your right. I heard the same thing too. I would have liked to see clear weather for the race.. but hey, thats Florida this time of year. Cool race tho! I liked it alot!

not so much to slow the bikes down, actually it made for a faster lap time as you didnt have to "turn left or hit wall" as much.. new chicane but pretty sure its the same one we had at the ROC in October..and all the bikes use.
