The local Ducati club has organized it for Feb 17th - http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/WADEmembersLIST/message/554

(It's at 7pm at the Hi Hat on Brady, in case the above link doesn't work).

I'm probably going to be there.

While I suppose there's room for last minute updates, but according to the producers of the film http://www.fastermovie.com/news.html, Faster won't be available on DVD in the US until this Spring. And I don't see Milwaukee as one of their screening sites.

Guess the Ducky guys have a bootleg copy. But hey, that works for me ;) I suppose they just want to lure a crowd to their meeting. They aren't selling admission are they? >:(

Oh yeah, the earlier plan some of you may have heard about, where Faster would be screened at each city the bike show went to, during the time of the show, fell through.

Guys- this is legit. ::) The Wisconsin Area Ducati Enthusiasts (WADE) guys put this together. I'd be surprised if it was anything other than an authorized screening. Dave Cavil is the club prez and he organized it.

As far as I know it's free - just show up, come early if you want to be sure to get a seat. I'm gonna get something to eat, and probably have a beer or ten. Geez - such skeptics...

He11, Dave - I don't always completely agree with what I write. Those things just pop out sometimes after I read an article that ticks me off. After I thought about it some, after seeing it in print, I had second thoughts, too. But hey, if it made people stop and think even for a second, then I guess it was goodness. :)

Because we're the center of the universe? 8) Just think, come summer you'll be able to just catch a jet cat across the lake, bike and all, and it lets you off right here in beertown, USA. Yee haa. :D
